By car

You can reach the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry via motorway intersection A4 from Heerlen/Eindhoven or Cologne, A544 towards Aachen Europaplatz, and A44 from Düsseldorf/Mönchengladbach or Liege/Brussels. Take the A4, direction Aachen/Heerlen. Leave the autobahn at the second exit (Aachen-Laurensberg). Turn right, direction Aachen
About 1.5 km after entering Aachen, turn right before the "Ponttor", a large medieval city gate. Turn right at the third crossroad (Professor-Pirlet-Strasse). here is a parking house of the RWTH Aachen University at the Professor-Pirlet-Straße. Please make sure you have a valid parking permit. You can receive one from your contact person. Leave the parking garage at the pedestrians' exit and cross Professor-Pirlet-Strasse. You get direct into Landoltweg. You will find the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry immediately to the left..

By bus and train

The nearest train station to RWTH Aachen is the Aachen West Train Station. From there the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry is within walking distance.

If you arrive at Aachen main station take the bus 13B to the station "Turmstraße".
